Families of INterest 

   The main focus of Allied Families is to concentrate on enrolling about 50 Upchurch and other allied families that share a North Carolina heritage going back to the days of the American Revolution. However, there are several hundred related families of interest that do not yet rise to the level of enrollment.  This project provides a mechanism for placing on-line detail of interest about these special families.
   For each Family of Interest a coordinator will be appointed from our  Allied Families set of volunteers.  Others may work on a given family, but the approval of the coordinator will be required to submit additions or changes  to the webmaster. The webmaster will have final say on what is posted relying on his advisers from the Allied Families Board.
   Each Family of Interest will have an Introduction which will provide a brief description of the family and explain how this family is related to some of the families already enrolled, or about to be enrolled, on the Allied Families website.
