Elizabeth Upchurch was the daughter of Michael Upchurch III, the granddaughter of James Upchurch I and the great granddaughter of Richard Upchurch (c.1658 - aft 1700).  Elizabeth married Thomas Bethshares in Brunswick County, Virginia.  Thomas went on to administer the estate of Elizabeth's father's following Michael's death in 1795. Elizabeth Upchurch was a member of the fifth Upchurch generation in America. She has been identified as the tentative head of an Upchurch Clan and an Upchurch progenitor circa 1790.  Unfortunately, none of her descendants have yet been identified.  

Elizabeth Upchurch b abt 1750 married Thomas Bethshares on Nov 27, 1787 in Brunswick County, VA.
